Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of fourteen. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing BJJ and wrestling, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd kept building on her win during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her competitors in the initial round. Then she returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen an unanimity loss and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent bout with Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in first round by TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and prevailed via armbar submission in the 2nd round. Aspen used her superior grappling skills to defeat McGill and ended her via third round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in an "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd failed to make the weight. Aspen, however, beat Hoy by using TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion with a unanimous decision. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came in UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round at the end of the second. The next time she fought Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. Also, she was awarded the bonus for performance of evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first fight she's had in a major way. The two fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and each fighter received the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her winning streak. In the third round of UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The decision was made unanimously in her favor.
