Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is a American pro basketball player who plays for the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. She played in the NCAA basketball tournament with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, before being drafted by the Wings as the 5th overall selection of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale is a Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale is her 26 year old brother, and Dare Ogunbowale, 20 years old. Since she was the smallest of her siblings, she was the most spoilt from her family. Gregory Ogunbowale's father was a soldier as a soldier in the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale participated at 2013 the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship and was awarded Gold medals at both. The USA Youth Olympic Team was announced as the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team on July 7, 2014. Ogunbowale is also part of the ACC All-Freshman Team, after her debut season at a college.
